What a joy to have Pastor Danny El-Aaidi, our campus pastor in 
Carpinteria, preach his first message both in Carpinteria and Santa Barbara this past weekend. Danny is a wonderful testimony to God’s grace and power and we are privileged to watch from the front lines as he responds to God’s call to ministry. Danny continues to work full-time (he oversees California for Koppert Biological Systems – Natural Pesticides) and has two small children, along with his responsibilities for our ministry in Carpinteria. 6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
God has begun a good work in you, and He will continue to develop and perfect that work, bringing His purpose for your life to completion until the day Jesus returns. Did you know you are still under construction? Every one of us is a work-in-progress, and we must allow the Holy Spirit to work within us according to His good pleasure.
